Accessibility

At Towergate, we strive to develop and produce websites that cater for all our customers. That’s why we are currently in the process of re-designing and developing our sites to make sure they conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the Disability Discrimination Act. All our users have different needs, and we want to make sure everyone can gain access to our sites. The new features will include:

  • Simple use of layout tables which still allow you to read content if the tables are displayed in a simple browser such as Lynx.
  • All pages allow you to increase the size of the text in order to browse happily.
  • All data tables and forms contain additional features that may add to the benefits of certain software like screen readers.
  • Use of style sheets to separate content from display.
  • Appropriate use of HTML tags.
